Now the 2014 Colne Engaine festival is done, here’s a nice message from the festival committee.

Evening everyone, now we have just about recovered from the weekend we would like to thank quite a few people without who the festival wouldn’t have run quite as smoothly as it did. Here goes:
Richard and Wendy Jones from the village shop for promoting the festival and selling tickets on our behalf and the bags of coconuts/bottles of water
Darren and Caroline Lingley and their fab team at the Five Bells
Juliet Townsend for her help with the festival programme
Valley Graphics for our banners
See Dee Pets for the dog show prizes
Henny Vets for judging the dog show
A2 Jive – the Lindy hoppers
Brian and Jill Fleming for the archive exhibition
The Royal Anglian Regiment Band
Tendring Dog Agility
Ali and Rachel from the Village hall
Stacey for being a brilliant compere at Grease
Hector for being the ‘announcer’ at the festival
Roy and Dean for helping us with the lights
Poplar Nurseries for the hanging baskets
Matt the security man
The Air Cadets
Colne Engaine Bell ringers
Pete Robinson and Warren for all your help with Saturday night

The team of volunteers who helped over the weekend

We have been really lucky to have had so many people rally round and give us their time and talent for free or at cost.

We hope we haven’t missed anybody, apologies and thank you if we have!!

Love the Festival team: Belinda, Kate, Helen, Amanda, Jo, Mandy, Rosie, Jane, Tracey and Ginette x x
